This is a collage I did for my daughter's teacher at the end of the school year. Her daughter and grandson (top left) were done in pencil, her son (bottom left) was done in pen and ink, and her other son (right) was done in watercolor. I completed all three on the same type of watercolor paper, cut them out, arranged them with other embellishments, matted, and framed it. She loved it, and it wasn't the same old apple teacher gift that she was used to getting. My daughter and I also wrote on the back thanking her for a wonderful year.

Wow--what a memorable and thoughtful gift!! I'll bet she was tickled pink, and no, that is definitely not the usual apple for teacher! lol
